Christmas prayer
The birth of the Christmas child bears the message of hope that there can be joy and peace and goodwill. At Christmas time we can allow ourselves to believe in angels, and wise men and shepherds, and the whole night sky filled with the music of rejoicing. Let our religion be the religion of Christmas with peace and goodwill shining brightly in our hearts. Let our religion be a religion of joyfulness and greeting. Let our religion be a secret religion. We do not need to tell someone to change and become like us, push no one, force no one. The world will change for the better as we change for the better. As we change for the better, others will follow. Let our prayer be for our own renewal in the spirit of this Christmas.
