Think of a time when you were lost
A time as a child when you wandered away from your parents
When you took the wrong turn and your surroundings were no longer familiar
Or when you were in a wilderness without a well worn path
Or in a deep dense fog without a horizon or landmark

Sometimes we feel lost
Without direction
Without purpose
We wander around looking for a way out, a way forward.
We analyse how we arrive there, lost
And seek causes and reasons

But alas these are of minimal consequence

As we can do little to change what has happened.
