Prayer is woven into the fabric of all things, so we gather, not to form a prayer, but to give space for our hearts to offer the prayers which form in us in every moment of our lives: when we are alone, with time for contemplation; when we are together with our loved ones; and

Though we stand alone as the strings of a lute,
still we may quiver with the same music; and even as the

Let us take time for a meditational prayer.
Just to sit quietly and focus on being in this chapel.
Let all other thoughts subside.
Let them go to the back of the mind.
And in the silence of this chapel let our thoughts focus on our inner

In the midst of the busy city we find:
a sanctuary
a place of quiet
a place for reflection
So let us pray:
Into the stillness and the quietness of this place come the noises of the city:
